The International Youth Day is celebrated and observed every year on 12 August across the world. The day is marked for giving new initiatives and action taken by the youth. Also, on this day, the government and citizens come together to bring attention to the problems faced by the younger generation.

In commemoration of the International Youth Day 2021, SME-100 Africa put together youth-led conversations fostered on various topical issues affecting young minds and how the youths are innovating for a better planet earth.

This event held on the 12th of August, 2021 at the SME100 Africa Hub, present at the event were innovative & vibrant youths from various sector of the economy which includes but not limited to Technology, fashion, education, art & culture, creatives & professionals, topics bordering on Career pressure, Substance Abuse, education and innovation were discussed in line with the global theme: “Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”.

This was an insightful and impactful session, with lots of fun and networking activities to commemorate this years International Youth Day, the organizers SME100 Africa also reiterated their commitment to a FUBU (For Us By Us) and youth centered brand.
