phyliis omido is a Kenyan environmental activist , she was one of the people to be awarded the workmen environmental prize in 2015

phyllis is recognized for protesting against lead smelting plant located in the middle of Owino uhuru , a slum near Mombasa in Kenya

The founder of the center for justice, governance environmental action never stop fighting after 10years of trying to move the case to court. she finally succeeded and was awarded $12m to be paid by the government agencies and directors of the company, the judge also ordered the government to clean owino uhuru within 4 months

she’s not ending it there as she is committed to making the government and company pay up else she won’t keep quiet

phyllis omido has proven her selflessness and love for humanity and we definitely inspired
